What is APOSHO?

APOSHO is the Asia Pacific Occupational Safety and Health Organization. The objective of the Asia Pacific Occupational Safety & Health Organization (hereinafter referred to as "APOSHO") is to promote mutual understanding and cooperation among the communities in the Asia-Pacific region as well as to contribute to the enhancement of occupational safety and health in these communities through the exchange of information and views among competent people including top-level managers of the member organisations.

APOSHO is composed of organisations mainly engaged in activities related to occupational safety and health in the Asia-Pacific region. APOSHO membership currently comprises of 34 organisations from 22 different countries. Each member is a not-for-profit organisation with a charter that subscribes to ‘the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases’.

This is the first time that Western Australia has been afforded the honour to host the annual gathering of APSOHO since its inception in 1985.

This event will provide Australian safety professionals and business managers with unique opportunities for networking and cultural exchanges between delegates from the many nations that have already indicated their desire to attend this special event.
